Pottery Wheel

 

Advenced Ceramics students will spend 5 or more days working to learn how to use the pottery wheel. The goal is to learn the basics of potty wheel construction and to create a piece of art of their choosing.

 

Prior to beginning your work, homework to prepare includes viewing several YouTube videos to learn/observe basic techniques:

“how to center clay on the potter’s wheel”

“Centering clay for beginners”

  • Setting up the potter’s wheel to work
